Day 1

Woke up with a little pain. Was hurting through the night when I slept on my right side.
Still no improvement, very closed, feeling numb and eye is quite watery.
Have had lots of water and healthy food. Watched a movie and slept a bit. Overall, just trying to understand this condition and get back to my usual self...Onwards and Upwards.

Third Nerve Palsy - 37 yr old woman's version

One week ago today, I was diagnosed with Third Nerve Palsy.

Upon arrival at the RBH in Brisbane, I was immediately seen by a nurse, who then passed me to an Opthamologist. I was examined for about 2 hours before being advised of my condition.
I was sent to emergency imaging for a CAT scan with contrast. Then I was sent to Pathology and had 10 samples taken. My Opthamologist then examined the CAT scan and blood samples and advised me to go home and return 2 days later. I then returned to the hospital for an MRI with conttrast. They looked at my brain and my eye. I then met with a Specialist who treats this condition and he advised me that they can't find anything wrong.

The reason for this blog is the limited relevant information online, and their are people out there suffering like me, and nobody to share it with.
